IDA from January 2014 for PSU

IDA Increased From January 2014 for PSU Employees by 5.0 %

The IDA w.e.f. 01-January-2014 has been increased by 5.0% i.e  from 85.5% to 90.5% depends upon the Average All India Consumer Price Index Number (Industrial Worker) of the months September-2013, October-2013 & November-2013 .
The  AICPINs of the months Sep'13, Oct'13 &Nov'13 have been declared on 31-October-2013 & 29-November-13 &31-December-2013 respectively. The  AICPINs of the month Sep'13 & Oct'13 & Nov'13 are 238, 241 & 243 as declared on 31-October-2013, 29-November-2013 & 31-December-13 respectively.

Central Govt. Approved Constitution of Committee for 7th Pay commission for Central Govt. Employees

Central Govt. Approved Constitution of Committee for implementation of 7th Pay Commission for Central Govt. Employees w.e.f. 01/01/2016

        Central Govt. gave one more gift after announcing 10% DA hike to about 85 laks Central Govt. employees & pensioners by Approving Constitution of Committee for implementation of 7th Pay commission for Central Govt. Employees. The age of retirement of central employees may extended from 60 years to 62 years. This committee will submit its recommendation in next two years.
       The 7th Pay Commission will be applicable w.e.f. 01 January 2013 and it will cause about rupees one lakh crore extra burden over Indian Economy. Earlier, 6th Pay Commission has been implemented wef 01/01/2006.
        The Govt. constitutes committee for pay commission every 10 years to implement revised pay commission at every 10 years.

The Central Govt. announced CDA increased w.e.f. 01-January-2014 by 10.0% i.e from 90% to 100.0% depends upon the Average AICPIN of the months Jan'13 to Dec'13. The AICPINs upto December 2013 have been declared.
           The Central Dearness Allowance is used to calculate with the help of last 12 months' All India consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (AICPIN-IW). AICPIN-IW is declared by Labour Bureau  Deptt., Government of India. The month-wise AICPINs and top 10 CDA projections are listed below:-

Recruitmen of Graduate Engineers as Executive Trainees in GAIL

GAIL (India) Limited, a Maharatna PSU and India's flagship Natural Gas company, is integrating all aspects of the Natural Gas value chain (including Exploration & Production, Processing, Transmission, Distribution and Marketing) and its related services. In a rapidly changing scenario, GAIL is spearheading the move to a new era of clean fuel industrialization by creating a quadrilateral of green energy corridors that connect major consumption centres in India with major gas fields, LNG terminals and other cross border gas sourcing points. GAIL is looking for committed, vibrant and passionate young Graduate Engineers for recruitment as Executive Trainees in the disciplines of MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, INSTRUMENTATION AND CHEMICAL Engineering through GATE-2014.

  AGE LIMIT & AGE RELAXATION:

1.   The upper Age Limit is 28 years as on 24.01.2014 for the posts of Executive Trainee in all disciplines.

2.   The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. It is relaxable by 10 years for PWD-
General, 13 years for PWD-OBC and 15 years for PWD-SC/ST candidates. The upper age limit is also relaxable by 5 years for candidates domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir between 1.1.1980 and 31.12.1989.

3.   In case of Ex-servicemen who have put in not less than six months continuous service in the Armed Forces of the Union, they shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from their actual age, and if the resultant age does not exceed by more than 3 years the maximum age limit prescribed for the posts/ services for which a candidate seeks appointment, he/she be deemed to satisfy the conditions regarding the age limit. 

 SELECTION PROCESS AND HOW TO APPLY:

GAIL will be utilizing Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2014 scores (GATE-2014 – Scores) for recruitment of Executive Trainees in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Chemical during the year 2014.


Eligible candidates who wish to apply for the position of Executive Trainee in the above disciplines in GAIL will be required to first apply for appearing in GATE-2014 and thereafter, appear inGATE-2014 as per instructions and timelines notified by GATE-2014Organizing Institute in one of the following relevant GATE Examination Papers:
