DA of Central Govt. Employees Increased by 10% from July 2013

Central Government Approves 10% hike in Dearness Allownace of Central Govt. Employees Last updated : 20/09/2013 

       
 Govt. gave the gift to central govt. employees by approving the  10% hike in Dearness Allowance of central govt. employees from existing 80% DA to 90% DA today w.e.f. 01/07/2013. This will be beneficial for about 50 lakh central govt. employees as well as about 30 lakh pensioners before this Diwali festival.
              This is a double digit hike after 3 years. Earlier DA was hiked by 8% from 72% to 80% wef 01/01/2013.
